Dusty Corn



Well, I guess it's July already...Dan's had a birthday, I've had a birthday, we've visited Kentucky, and I'm sure there's been a few other things to happen, but you gotta start somewhere...

First I need to back track a bit. This train comes in twice a week and one car holds 220,000 pounds of corn. They unload about 30 cars worth of corn in about 16 hours. So, here's some really dirty corn that will be fed to chickens that we will eat. I must admit, the longer I'm in an area with so many chickens, the more I'm inclined to eat organic.
But, dust, like fog, always makes for some interesting images...
