some days i have to get up really early, which i actually enjoy...
although i don't enjoy icy roads which is what i endured last week on my way to a tiny town for a photo of a boy signing his life away to a university football team.
it was claimed to be uber importante---so much so that i had to drive the extremely icy and dangerous stretch regardless.
along the way i shot a wreck due to the ice, and saw many others that slid off the road and bridges on their way to something i'm sure that was also "oh so important."
i made it there and back over the 20-some bridges along the interstate, slipped in late for the first signing but my supa important boy was still in the gym elated about his future of being a razorback
got a coffee buzz
reflected on my luck in not sliding off the interstate into the great abiss below
drove to a portrait
shot another signing of 2 more boys that failed to see the printed page
got called "chick" by a guy that offered to sell me a license to carry a gun
and finally, came 360 with the same boy from early am signing at the late afternoon signing, making that early am scary drive a little less pertinent...
so, here's a few of the pics that didn't run, along with the fire accident photo from one of those days i won't be likely to forget...
